Need New Fall Clothes? Check out Lauren Conrad's Collection at Kohl's

I miss the good ole days of back-to-school shopping. My mom would take me to the big, fancy mall instead of just the small, dinky mall near our house. We would painstakingly go from store to store while I tried on various items. Then she would pay for my stuff and we would be on our merry way. Now I have to decide between saving my money and wearing my clothes until they are worn and ragged OR parting with my precious, hard-earned cash and buying some new threads. I’m sure you’re stunned to hear that I usually choose shopping. I save too, don’t get me wrong. But I do enjoy shopping. I’ve just found that it’s a lot less fun when I have to foot the bill.

Lucky for me I discovered the LC Lauren Conrad collection at Kohl’s. This sounds like a commercial, but it’s not. I’m just passing along what I know. And that is this: If you want clothes you can wear to work and then out on a date or for a casual weekend, LC’s got you covered. The best part is everything is CHEAP, but doesn’t look/feel like it. The Kohl’s store I was at was also having a sale on the collection so….my wallet was very pleased.

Enough typing. Let me show you what I purchased.

First up we’ve got this lightweight peach-y tee. It’s got this cute rose detailing which means you can dress it up for work or wear it with jeans on the weekend. Love this.

Adorbs

Then we’ve got this little flower shirt. I like the ruffled detail down the middle. I will definitely be wearing this to work with another piece which I’ll show you in a minute. I snatched this up when I realized I was seriously lacking in nice shirts. I have tanks and I have casual tees. I needed more shirts that are work appropriate, so this fills the void.

Good for work/play

Okay, how cute will that flower tee look with this cream colored blazer? I love me some Erin Andrews, and recently I saw her on TV rocking a blazer like the one you see below. Obviously that meant that I instantly had to get one just like it. I’ve seen a lot of cream colored blazers lately, and I like this trend. What do you think?

SO Erin Andrews

In fact, I liked the cream blazer so much that I bought it in black. I also bought the adorable little shirt that I so carefully placed underneath the black blazer for this picture. I know it seems odd to buy two of the exact same jacket but a.) they’re different colors b.) they were on sale and c.) I feel like you can wear blazers with so many different outfits that I’d get a lot of use out of them.

Let’s take a closer look at this ensemble, shall we?

And look at the scrunched sleeve. I like that. Makes it more interesting and unique.

And lastly, this outfit below isn’t from the Lauren Conrad collection, but I wanted to show it to you anyway. I picked up this shirt and the shorts at a shop called Quiet Storm when I was on vacation. They sell items from lines like Roxy, Billabong, etc. So cute, right? The shirt is so lightweight and soft. I love it! And the shorts were on sale, which is always a fun time.

It may be fall now but I'll have this ensemble for next summer

What do you guys think of Lauren’s collection? Will you go buy any of the pieces? Here’s a link to to the Kohl’s site if you want to shop online. The stuff averages at about $30 or so. Great deals all around.
