Ode to Chrissy Teigen

Today I bring you another fine ode to a very deserving lady. Chrissy Teigen is best known for being a model. You may have seen her in the pages of Sports Illustrated. Or perhaps on the cover. But that is not why I love her. Chrissy Teigen has amazing, fabulous, drool-worthy hair. But that is not why I love her. Chrissy is engaged to velvety-voiced singer John Legend. And they’re going to make gorgeous and talented babies. Sidenote: If you haven’t seen him cover Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” you should probably watch it. But that is not why I love her/them. I love her because she has one of the most hilarious Twitter accounts I’ve ever read in my entire life. And I’ve read a lot of Twitter accounts because I spend much of my day on Twitter (it’s part of my job, okay?). I’m not kidding about this. Sometimes when I’m having a bad day I take a breath, go to Chrissy’s twitter, scroll for  a few minutes, laugh until I cry, and then everything is okay. She is that funny.

For an example of Chrissy’s Twitter in action, see below:

If you think Chrissy is one of these models whose diet consists of three grapes and a carrot, think again. Chrissy is also a big foodie. She runs a food blog called So Delushious. Pretty awesome, right? That’s another reason why I love her. I won’t lie though, many of her recipes are wayyyy too fancy for my simple cooking abilities.

To add her to her air of fabulosity, Chrissy is close friends with both Brooklyn Decker AND Erin Andrews. Awesome.

Chrissy breaks every stereotype about airhead, rail-thin models. She’s smart, sarcastic, and loves to cook. Adore her. Are you a fan?
