Greetings from Cape Cod

I’ve been a little quiet lately since I’ve been doing an abnormal amount of traveling. Last week I was in Charlotte for work and now Chris and I took the week and are enjoying time off in Cape Cod. I get five days off throughout the year, so I was determined to make the most of it. I wanted some time to relax and see a new place, but we didn’t have a lot to spend. The Cape ended up being the perfect option. It’s within driving distance of our house, and is full of beautiful little beach towns.

Last night we headed to Provincetown and walked around. That area has so many cute shops and restaurants. We ate outside on a deck that felt like we were in a treehouse. Here’s a shot by the water:

The man who was taking it was NOT excited to do so, so I’m glad it came out. We’ve also been eating plenty of lobster rolls, and finding all kinds of cute little restaurants. Next up on the list we’re taking a tour of a working lighthouse, and we’ll also head to Martha’s Vineyard for the day.

If you’re heading out on vacation with your significant other and their family soon, you’ll want to check out this post I wrote.

Hope you’re having a relaxing week. Have you been to Cape Cod before? Any must-sees that we should add to the list?
