Looking For Some Unique Apartment Decor? I've Got You Covered.

One of the best parts about moving to a new apartment is getting to (re)decorate. Your place is a blank slate, and you can make it look however you want. My goal for my new room in Charlotte was to create a place that felt spa-like. To make this happen, I got an all white bed, white sheets, and light-colored furniture. But for me, one of the hardest parts of decorating is finding the right artwork. I had a couple good grabs at Home Goods, but still had a lot of space to fill in the room. I knew I really wanted a print of the poem “Desiderata” (one of my favorites) but couldn’t quite find the right print. Then I discovered Be Happy.

The site allows you to order posters, shirts, cards, canvases, etc. of your favorite quotes. You can choose from user generated quotes or make your own. You can customize the background color and pick the font so that the print looks exactly like you want it to. Thanks to this site, I have a poster of “Desiderata” coming my way soon on a fun, bright pink background. If you’re tired of searching site after site for the perfect poster to hang in your apartment or office, check these guys out. However, a word to the wise: the site is Behappy.me NOT .com. The dot com version has MUCH different content on it than this nice little quote site. If you know what I mean.

What sites do you use for home decor?
